With a population almost twenty times smaller than the United States (that’s only 5% of the U.S. population!) the Netherlands have produced an astounding number of world class players. Wesley Sneijder, Robin Van Persie, Arjen Robben, and the infamous Johan Cruyff are but a few of the greatest names in football, and all emerged from a system and style of play cultivated and passed down by the head of Dutch football, the KNVB. How do they do it?
Find out in June 2017, when four members of the KNVB’s coaching staff host an exclusive training camp for a limited number of players on Maui. Over three days, players will have an opportunity to learn the “Dutch style” of play, a system exemplified by the likes Ajax and PSV, two clubs that have been longstanding heavyweights in European football.
The Camp is open to players aged 9 to 18, and is intended for competitive players only. Players will be placed into training groups based on age, and training groups will be limited in number. There will be a total of five training sessions over three days.
